Psychology ?-Does Anyone Have Any Information on the Effects of Absentee Father on Their Daughters,Sites?
Question by magnolia813: Psychology ?-does anyone have any information on the effects of absentee father on their daughters, sites?
I am trying to substantiate something I read or heard as I have two close friends that are slowly killing themselves with alcohol and pills. Neither will go to treatment and I know there is nothing I can do for them if they won’t help themselves, but for my own mind I want to get to the bottom of this. Any direction I can get will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Kathy aka Magnolia

If you want empirical studies on this, you could look on pyschinfo – it’s a database. If you’re in college you should have free access to it. If not, I might be able to look sometime, but I’m going to bed soon because I like to wake up at the butt crack o’ dawn, so you’d have to give me some time.
