Is It Legal for an Employer to Make an Employee Leave a Inpatient Drug Treatment Center Early?
Question by ricker712: Is it legal for an employer to make an employee leave a inpatient drug treatment center early?
I was in an inpatient treatment center and my employer made me leave early to keep my job. I was in there for 4 weeks and wanted to stay for 90 more days in which i was able to leave for work everyday. All I needed my employer to do was switch me with a summer help employee. The summer help comes every may to help anyone that needs time off. My employer refused to switch me with another employee that agreed to switch with me. Now 1 year later I recieved a drug test and my employer fired me for drug use when they didn’t provide the correct treatment for my needs. Is that legal is my question and if not who should I contact to help me with this situation? Me and my employer signed a contract saying I would complete a treatment program for this and they went agaisnt what was signed. If anyone has any information that’d help me out please let me know, Thanks alot for anything that you could help me out with
Could I Have Mastocytosis or MCAS?
Question by Rusty: Could I have Mastocytosis or MCAS?
I have struggled with gastrointestinal problems for years: diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, weight loss, painful radiating abdominal cramps. I saw a pediatric gastroenterologist when I was an adolescent (I am now 22) and was checked for Crohn’s disease, ulcers, bacterial infections, etc. I am hypersensitive to foods (dairy, greasy or oily foods, high fat content foods) and sometimes get sick after heat and high activity exposure. Usually when I eat these foods, I get stomach pain that develops into diarrhea or nausea very quickly, sometimes before I am even done with the meal. I also was diagnosed with acid reflux disease and have unexplained bone pain and dizzy spells sporadically. When I was younger I used to get LARGE, red, itchy hives across my stomach area for unexplained reasons, but have not seen any in years. I was wondering if anyone has been diagnosed with systemic mastocytosis (particularly that affecting the GI) and would like to know how and if I should get tested for this disease?

Where Do I Get Help for Alcoholism?
Question by Worried Sick: Where do I get help for alcoholism?
Hi, I live in Massachusetts, and I have a drinking problem. It’s not that I feel like I need to drink all the time. It’s like this: If I’m bored, the answer is to go out with friends and have a few drinks. A few drinks leads to me killing a bottle of whiskey. Once the whiskey is gone, I may either go buy more alcohol, or find drugs. Friends and family seem to not see a problem in my life. I know this isn’t true, but it makes me feel like no one cares. With friends and family not seeing my problem, I feel like I can’t turn to them for help. I so badly want to get clean, but I don’t know where to begin. Any ideas?
I Smoke Cigarettes to Help Me Quit Marijuana and It Doesn’t Work?
Question by Mozin: I smoke cigarettes to help me quit marijuana and it doesn’t work?
I decided a while back that I should smoke a cigarette every time after I smoke a marijuana bowl. This would help me to help me quit smoking marijuana. I heard cigarettes are gross and give you lung cancer so I don’t like it at all. It’s not working though, whats the best way to stop?

I’m not trying to be mean, but that really is the dumbest thing I have heard in a long time.
