How to Become a Counselor?

i want to become a counselor. Ive been doing research and I’m trying to find out whats the best way to tackle my goals, because i want to get my masters in counseling for marriage/family, mental health, and drugs/addiction. But obviously that would be A LOT , so whats the best way of going about obtaining all three and i live in Massachusetts so i was wondering if anyone knew what schools would be best ??

you live in massachussets so try yale or harvard
i know it will be hard getting in
get your degree and apply for jobs
