Question by Kevin: I want to volunteer to help underprivileged kids but I have a previous arrest?
3 years ago I was arrested and received a class c misdemeanor. I’m told if you search my background there are no results. It was a drug charge and I’m clean now and want to give back to the community. Is there any way they could stop me from working with the kids die to my past?

Laws are different in different states so talk to your lawyer or your po. Beyond that it would be a matter of the policy of the organization with which you want to volunteer.
