Is 3 Searches in a Year at Airpoint Illegal or at Least Worth Looking Into?

Question by Dr Jazz ?? E??l A?????ts ??: Is 3 searches in a year at airpoint illegal or at least worth looking into?
I have been to Amsterdam 3 times in the past year. Yes I understand the Department of Homeland Security is looking for drugs. I always have NONE on me.

The first time I took a direct flight back and was searched on the way in the by the Dept. of Homeland security. They were also unspeakably rude.I mean disgustingly rude.

The second time it was a two flighter and there was no search.

The 3rd time was after New Years and it was a direct flight. Same city.
A second search. So rude and condescending. So bad I shouldn’t even be talking about this but I am.

Now I have another trip to be there in time for Holland’s big April 30 celebration. Back in January I got a great deal including a direct flight. In retrospect I am promising myself never to book a direct flight through this airport again because of the hideous treatment, and I won’t.

The point is, I will bet you anything I will get searched again. That will make 3 times in 12 months. They always talk to me like I’m a criminal.
I have no record whatsoever. Both times before they have found nothing and they never will. This time I will be quick to open the suitcase for them to get to the point that they are wasting our time and our tax dollars.

The DHS says in its brochure that it is “random” and “only a small percentage” get searched. Try telling the hatemongers at Boston Logan Airport’s DHS Branch that.

At what point can I complain?
It’s getting to the point that I will now avoid that aiport because of them. In January, in the middle of a search my throat was very dry and I reached for a cough drop from my open bag in the middle of a search. Scumbag hit my hand. . I should have known better.
