Legalized Gambling… Does It Draw Crime, Addiction, Misery, Etc.. What Is Good About It?
Question by Dewayne: Legalized gambling… does it draw crime, addiction, misery, etc.. what is good about it?
I see the shanty towns outside and surrounding large gambling houses in Nevada… those folks don’t live off “gaming”–they are slaves to it. I think organized crime is involved in this business and it ruins people’s lives causing misery where ever it is. I really can’t think of a single good thing that comes from it… it is a distribution of weath scheme that steals from the poor, disadvantaged, mathematically challenged people of the world and enriches the rich. Can you think of a single good that comes from it?
