The kind of places in like California, Vermont, or Colorado… outdoors and rugged where they do activities and soul searching kinda things? Not JUST for drug addicts like a rehab but I mean like a camp sort of deal. Anyone know what I’m talking about? I need to get away…

Well, I’m a writer (that kind of explains my non-sense questions), and I need suggestions for a movie which retracts the reality of a drug addict. I need it to be REALLY explicit, since I don’t know any addicted, because I’m gonna have to base my descriptions of drug abuse and the addicts life on scenes I catch from movies and books I read. Of Course I’m trying to visit some rehab center to gain information and stuff, but I find it hard to believe they’re gonna let me see what I want. Thanks already! hmm, I will choose a best answer!

It’s very homophobic, in Ohio, and it has a population of about 1500. There’s not much to do, since it’s small. there’s a Walmart, Starbucks, a few restaurants, a few fast food places, a skate park, a high school, a library, a playground, and a rehab center. There’s a lot of drug usage, hence the rehab center. I need a town name, help?

I want to help my best friend with this burden. He is 21 years old and living on his own with his father’s moral support, so he is not completely alone family-wise, but he is extremely close with his mother because his dad wasn’t in the picture until 14 years old. He loves his mother more than anything in the world and it deeply pains him to know where she is in life because, daily, he expects the call from his grandma that she’s dead. He has no hope she will change because it seems where ever she goes she gets into the same lifestyle. She is honestly a good person, sweet as can be. Are there any options for this woman because she can not keep hooking for a living very soon or survive as a meth addict much longer. I want to commit her to a rehab center, but I don’t know if that’s the best thing or if she will even go! She needs therapy, and that’s for sure. Her early life was tragic.

I am a 24 year old woman who has battled with drug and alcohol addiction for about 7 years. I have gotten in some trouble with the law (DUI and possension of various drugs) over the last year. I have finally agreed to go into a rehabilitation center ( I live outside of Chicago) and I am having trouble finding places that best suite me. I have tried out patient therapy and counseling over the years but they don’t really seem to help me. My family wants to get me into a sober living facility but I am not exactly sure what I am looking for. Is there any website or phone number I can call to help better figure out what would work best for me. Any suggestions will help. Thank you
