I know addiction treatment programs cost much. How about those who want to change but can’t afford to go to addiction treatment centers? Especially those who are unemployed?

There are actually state-funded treatment programs available now for low-income or indigent persons who are in need of treatment regarding their alcohol or drug dependency. For those who are deemed unemployable because of their addiction, they are eligible to apply for treatment under the Alcohol and Drug Addiction Treatment and Support Act.

Locating a Drug Rehab Facility?

Question by KS: Locating a drug rehab facility?
Hey everyone,
i really need your help. My best friend was admitted to a drug rehab facility in the Cape Cod, MA area last week. I don’t know the name of the clinic, and his parents are refusing to talk to any of his friends during this time. I really need to just call him and talk to him even for a few minutes. I have heard there are privacy issues with patient confidentiality. It is just hurting me not to know how he is. Do you guys know of anyway that I can provide his name and the area he is in to a call center or rehab locater and find out where he is? Is this even possible with only this information? Thanks all.

Anyone Know of Good & Effective Dual Diagnosis Rehab Centers?

Question by Anthony B: Anyone know of good & effective dual diagnosis rehab centers?
I’ve decided to get myself some help and need advice on treatment centers. I need a place that specializes in mental-illness(more specifically, bipolar) along with drug and alcohol addiction. I haven’t the slightest clue how to locate a quality program and need some help. If anyone knows of any or has gone through a similar situation, please share.

Both prescription drugs and alcohol addiction can be serious and deadly diseases because it destroys the ones health and wellness. I advise that your friend has to undergo a dual diagnosis treatment which I believe takes a long term to finally overcome those addictions.
