Is Marijuana an “ok” Drug?

Question by Amber: Is marijuana an “ok” drug?
Some people think it’s ok to smoke weed, and a lot of times it’s socially accepted. What do you think?

i’ve smoked herb for a long time. im healthy and successful…and i won’t be dying of cigarette-related cancer anytime soon, either. know the facts: there are zero reported marijuana induced deaths per year. AND i’ve never tried any other drugs in my life. so, if you want to label anything as dangerous, label the ones that warrant that label: alcohol and cigarettes. not to mention the people who find a better alternative to prescription drugs in marijuana to relieve pain caused by such things as cancer, glaucoma, MS…the list can go on.

I Need to Know if There Are Any Drug Rehabs in Brownwood, Texas That Will Take People With Dual Diagnosis.?

Question by dania d: I need to know if there are any drug rehabs in Brownwood, Texas that will take people with dual diagnosis.?
My friend has a brother whom she thinks has dual diagnosis. She knows for a fact that he does heroin, but she’s not sure if he’s really depressive. Their parents are away, and she’s asking me to help her find a rehab for him because she thinks this would be the best thing to do for her brother. She’s bent on finding one that will take patients with dual diagnosis, as she says that they’re better equipped at handling patients with even just a slight psychological problem.

What Kind of Physician Should I See About a Vicodin Addiction?

Question by Shell Laylee: What kind of physician should I see about a Vicodin addiction?
I’m a 22 year old female trying to kick a 2 year long vicodin addiction. I’m not sure what kind of physician to see or where to go. There are outpatient clinics that specialize in addiction and I also have a psychiatrist but both of whom are unable to see me for another month. Is there any way that a family practitioner or a pain specialist could help me out? If so, how do u think they would go about treatment? Any advice is appreciated,
much love

Are You for or Against GUN CONTROL in America?

Question by dogtear5: Are you for or against GUN CONTROL in America?
Besides the people who do not trust our own government,…
So what’s the solution?
There is a data base for everything nowadays, but the government does not keep the loonies in our country on the path, there is no “red flag”, no notice, no pro-activity, no nothing. You can be crazy as hell, be a danger to yourself and others around you, you can own and buy as many firearms you want without any question or intervention. The government ignores the mentally ill until a mentally ill person actually does something absurd, the government does nothing to stop or prevent the mentally ill from buying or owning guns which is key.
