What’s a Good Topic for a Position Essay on Abuse?

Question by impersonal.: What’s a good topic for a position essay on abuse?
I have a position essay to write w/ a theme of abuse, but I can’t think of a topic I actually care to write on. It needs to have at least two sides to it, but they don’t necessarily need to be opposing. I need topics more specific then just the vague idea of drug abuse, child abuse, etc. I know I sound picky, but I do need help! Thanks!

What about the issue of whether or not pedophiles should be able to return to their communities? Should they be held in prison after their sentences end? for safety? Is it wrong to post their names on Internet lists? Put signs in their yards? Should they have the same rights as others? Why or why not? If it is a biological disorder should they be punished? Give the victim’s side..
